Thermogravimetric study of the solid-phase reaction of La2–x Sr x CoO4 cobaltates synthesis

Abstract

The course of the solid-phase synthesis of perovskite-like oxides La2–x Sr x CoO4 was studied by the thermal analysis method. It was found that the formation of the oxides begins above 970°С after termination of thermal conversions of initial strontium carbonate and lanthanum oxide, however the final formation of ceramics is in progress up to 1400°С.
