Abstract

3,5-Bis(3-imino-2,3-dihydro-1H-isoindol-1-ylideneamino)-1,2,4-thiadiazoles have been synthesized by reaction of 3,5-diamino-1,2,4-thiadiazole with methoxy and diimino derivatives of 4-nitro-, 4-bromo-5-nitro-, 4-phenylsulfanyl-, and 4,5-bis(phenylsulfanyl)phthalonitriles.
