Abstract
In this Letter, we estimate the possibility of radiation of an electromagnetic wave at an impact magnetization change under the effect of a powerful femtosecond light pulse. A model of the accelerated oncoming motion of two opposite magnetic charges is proposed as a mechanism. The time dependences of the magnetization are obtained taking into account the pulse duration. The amplitude–frequency spectra of the emitted waves are provided. Radiation patterns are determined.
