  • Published:
Bulletin of the Russian Academy of Sciences: Physics Aims and scope

Abstract

An analysis is performed of the effect a magnetic field has on the propagation of electromagnetic waves under the conditions of pumping and nonlinear absorption introduced phenomenologically in a medium with zigzag carbon nanotubes. The dependence of the pulse waveform on the magnetic field and coefficients of nonlinear absorption is analyzed.
