Abstract

The applicability of a method for determining the number of free variables required to solve the balance task for flowsheets with a Florentine vessel or decanter during the separation of multicomponent mixtures has been considered. The rule and algorithm that allows one to determine the number of the free variables schemes with recycles have been formulated and proposed.
