A Direct Digital Synthesizer of Complex Signals

Abstract

The principles of the design and structural and circuitry-engineering solutions of direct digital synthesizers based on the method of the direct digital synthesis of frequencies and signals are proposed. The block and circuit diagrams of a direct digital synthesizer of complex frequency-modulated signals are shown. The synthesizer allows the synthesis of amplitude-, frequency-, and phase-modulated signals within the frequency range of 0.001–200 MHz.
