Abstract
A series of new 4- and 6-(tetrazolylmethyl)pentanitrohexaazaisowurtzitanes were synthesized. The reactions of 4- and 6-(chloromethyl)pentanitrohexaazaisowurtzitanes with triethylammonium salts of 5H-tetrazole, 5-methyltetrazole, and 5-aminotetrazole in the each case gave two isomers, namely, the substitution products at the N(1) and N(2) atoms of the tetrazole ring.
