Anisometric supramolecular aggregates of chiral trifluoroacetyl amino alcohol derivatives

Abstract

Anisometric supramolecular aggregates (strings) ≥1000 µm long oriented in parallel to each other were observed on cooling preheated solutions of chiral trifluoroacetyl amino alcohol derivatives in heptane, isopropyl alcohol, and water. The orientation of the domains relative to each other is random.
