Synthesis and Molecular Docking Analysis of Imidazol-5-One Derivatives as Anti-Hiv Nnrtis

  • Published:
Pharmaceutical Chemistry Journal Aims and scope

A series of substituted imidazole-5-one derivatives containing aminopyrimidine were synthesized. The synthesized compounds were evaluated for their in vitro reverse transcriptase inhibitor (RTI) activity by using reverse transcriptase colorimetric assay kit (Roche). Some of these compounds showed significant (RTI) activity. Molecular docking analysis was performed to study the binding orientation and affinity of synthesized compounds for RT enzyme.
