We study the mechanical properties of TNI-type (tungsten–nickel–iron) alloy with contents of tungsten and binder equal to 89 and 11wt.%, respectively, based on nickel and iron in the ratio 7:3. For this alloy, we constructed the yield curve, the plasticity diagram, and calibration hardness–stress–strain curves. On the basis of the results of mechanical tests performed under the conditions of compression, tension, and torsion, we analyze the possibility of application of the method of cold plastic deformation to this alloy.
