On Loads and the Choice of the Power of Autotransformers in the Main Electrical Networks

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

Actual loads are analyzed, and questions are examined of the justification and choice of the power of autotransformers in 220 – 750 kV power grids, requiring accounting for the modes of operation of power systems with an outlook of 10 or more years. Corresponding methodological provisions are proposed for the justification and choice regarding generalized load ability and load capacity of transformer equipment, as well as a reliability assessment of electrical installations for project planning of the development of electric power systems.
