Study of Local Wave Pressures on the Support of the Ice-Resistant Base of an Oil Platform

  • Published:
Power Technology and Engineering Aims and scope

For engineering strength design of large-diameter cylindrical supports, the distribution of point wave pressures along the perimeter of the support is of practical interest. In model experiments, special attention should be paid to the modeling of wave processes to obtain reliable results.
