A New Oleanane-Type Triterpenoid from the Fruits of Chisocheton macrophyllus

A new oleanane-type triterpenoid, 3-oxo-olean-11(12)-en-28-oic acid (1) and four known oleananes (2–5), have been isolated from the Chisocheton macrophyllus King fruit. The chemical structures were unambiguously established through extensive spectroscopic data analysis of IR, HR-MS, and NMR. The cytotoxic effect of the compounds was evaluated against MCF-7 and A-549 cells. All compounds had no cytotoxic activity against both cell lines.
