Two New Tirucallane Triterpenoids from the Fruiting Bodies of Ganoderma tropicum

Two new tirucallane triterpenoids, 24(R)-tirucalla-7,9(11),25-triene-3β,24,27-triol (1) and 24(S)-tirucalla-7,9(11),25-triene-3β,24,27-triol (2), were isolated from the EtOAc extract of the fruiting bodies of Ganoderma tropicum. Their structures were elucidated using a combination of 1D and 2D NMR (COSY, HSQC, and HMBC) techniques and HR-EI-MS analyses.
