A Novel Benzenoid from Liriodendron tulipifera

A new benzenoid, named tulipintriol (1), was isolated from the leaves of Liriodendron tulipifera (Magnoliaceae). The structure of the new benzenoid was elucidated by chemical and physical evidence.
