  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

The new compounds vaccinisides A–C (1–3) were isolated from leaves of Vaccinium vitis-idaea (Ericaceae) and identified using chemical transformations; UV, IR, and NMR spectroscopy; and mass spectrometry as 2′ ,6′-di-O-caffeylarbutin (1), quercetin-3-O-[2′′-O-(3′′′-hydroxy-3′′′-methylglutaroyl)]-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (2), and quercetin-3-O-[2′′-O-(3′′′-hydroxy-3′′′-methylglutaroyl)-4′′-O-(3′′′′-hydroxy-3′′′′-methylglutaroyl)]-α-L-rhamnopyranoside (3).
