Synthesis of Thiourea Derivatives of the Alkaloids Anabasine, Cytisine, and d-Pseudoephedrine. Crystal Structure of N-ethyl-N-Anabasinocarbothioamide

  • Published:
Chemistry of Natural Compounds Aims and scope

Ethylthiourea derivatives of the alkaloids anabasine, cytisine, and d-pseudoephedrine were synthesized using ethylisothiocyanate. Their structures were proven using PMR spectroscopy. The molecular structure of N-ethyl-N-anabasinocarbothioamide was established by an X-ray crystal structure analysis.
