Efficiency of Surface Hardening by Carburizing Steel Objects Operating under Abrasive Wear Conditions

The possibility is demonstrated of significant surface hardening for steel objects operating under abrasive wear conditions by carburizing, which provides the formation of a considerable amount of excess cementite within diffusion layers.
