Abstract

In this work, saturation and hysteresis loops are included in a four-port transformer model for electromagnetic transients computation in the frequency domain. Approximations with linear segments of the hysteresis characteristic and saturation curve are used. To obtain time domain results, the numerical Laplace transform is employed and the results are compared with those obtained from ATP.
