Abstract

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic has affected a huge population of the world, and most of them have made a successful recovery from the acute phase. Survivors of acute illness may experience a wide range of signs and symptoms after recovery which impact their quality of life and add on to their disability. These residual sequelae/symptoms are increasingly being reported by recovering patients irrespective of the severity of acute COVID-19 infection. This chapter focusses on cardiovascular complications following COVID-19 infection, common clinical presentations, natural course, evaluation and management in addition to prevention strategies.
