Riassunto

La suicidologia è concorde nel descrivere il comportamento suicidale come un continuum comprendente diverse manifestazioni che, partendo dall’ideazione, arrivano al suicidio vero e proprio, passando attraverso minacce suicidarie e TS di maggiore o minore gravità (Moscicki, 1995). È proprio sul riconoscimento di questi fattori predittivi che verte l’ampio capitolo della prevenzione secondaria, volta a individuare e a prendere in carico le persone a rischio, e quello della prevenzione terziaria, rivolta invece ai soggetti che abbiano già tentato il suicidio: l’obiettivo è, quindi, quello di ridurre eventuali recidive.
