Zusammenfassung
In diesem Kapitel werden Möglichkeiten der Förderung einer Steigerung des körperlichen Aktivitätsniveaus im übergeordneten Rahmen der Prävention und Behandlung psychischer Erkrankungen erläutert. Hierbei wird auf die Förderung im therapeutischen sowie im allgemeineren Kontext eingegangen, die Rolle von Motivation und Volition erörtert sowie die Relevanz interdisziplinärer Aufgaben und Zusammenarbeit thematisiert.

Zu wichtigen Aspekten im Kontext der Förderung körperlicher Aktivität im ambulanten oder stationären Kontext zählen die standardisierte Erfassung des Aktivitätsniveaus, Psychoedukation, konkrete Empfehlungen sowie die Förderung der Motivation und Volition.

Für eine Verbesserung des Angebots und der Empfehlung bzw. Verschreibung körperlicher Aktivitäten empfiehlt sich eine interdisziplinäre Zusammenarbeit und eine gezielte Schulung des Fachpersonals.

Auch im Rahmen breiter gefasster Präventionsmaßnahmen sollte angestrebt werden, dass Aktivitätsniveau auf Individual-, Gruppen- und Gesellschaftsebene präventiv zu erhöhen.
