Zusammenfassung

Die Vorteile von internet- und mobilbasierten Interventionen (IMIs) wie Anonymität und flexible, niedrigschwellige Nutzung sind bei sexuellen Funktionsstörungen von besonderer Relevanz, da diese ein gesellschaftliches Tabuthema darstellen und unterversorgt sind. IMIs für sexuelle Funktionsstörungen sind mehrheitlich kognitiv-verhaltenstherapeutisch ausgerichtet kombiniert mit klassischen sexualtherapeutischen und achtsamkeitsbasierten Übungen. Sexualedukative Elemente sowie Psychoedukation haben einen hohen Stellenwert und mehrheitlich werden auch paartherapeutische Behandlungselemente integriert. Besondere Berücksichtigung finden bei bisherigen IMIs auch sexuelle Funktionsstörungen im Zusammenhang mit Krebserkrankungen und -behandlungen. Auch wenn die Befundlage von IMIs für unterschiedliche sexuelle Funktionsstörungen noch limitiert ist, deutet aktuelle Forschung darauf hin, dass IMIs eine wirksame Behandlungsoption für sexuelle Funktionsstörungen darstellen. Weitere methodisch hochwertige Forschung in diversen Stichproben ist erforderlich.
