Zusammenfassung
Die Verfahren der endoskopischen Platzierung von Ernährungssonden sind in den letzten 50 Jahren zunehmend klinisch eingesetzt worden. Nachdem traditionell chirurgische Gastrostomien, später dann nasogastrale Sonden verwendet wurden, werden heutzutage vor allem auch perkutane Systeme im Langzeitverlauf angewendet. Hier ist eine differenzierte Indikationsstellung notwendig. Auch heute noch setzt die individualisierte Verwendung der Verfahren einen hohen Ausbildungsstand voraus. In jüngerer Zeit finden endoskopische Implantate auch bei metabolischen Erkrankungen temporäre Verwendung; diese Entwicklungen werden hier ebenfalls dargestellt.
