Zusammenfassung

Diffuse (interstitielle) pulmonale Veränderungen finden sich bei einem heterogenen Spektrum von zum Teil seltenen Lungenerkrankungen, mit oft chronischem Verlauf und signifikanter Morbidität und Letalität. Relativ häufig ist bereits das Säuglingsalter betroffen, und die Abgrenzung von angeborenen Erkrankungen zu akuten Infektionen ist schwierig. Der hier vorgestellte Algorithmus stellt einen Weg dar, um die Differenzialdiagnosen einzugrenzen und die notwendige Diagnostik und Therapie einzuleiten. Die Bewertung eines Pleuraergusses bzw. Tumors wird ebenfalls dargestellt.
