Zusammenfassung

Moderne diagnostische Algorythmen ermöglichen heute eine sehe zuverlässige nicht-invasive Diagnostik der venösen Thromboembolie. Die Therapie ist meistens konservativ durch Antikoagulation und Kompression. Heparine, Vitamin K-Antagonisten and direkte orale Antikoagulazien kommen je nach Indikation und klinischer Situation zum Einsatz. Bei ausgedehnten iliofemoralen Thrombosen kann die Indikation für invasive, thrombusbeseitigende Maßnahmen bestehen. Endovaskuläre Verfahren stützen sich auf die Kombination von kathetergesteuerter Fibrinolyse und mechanischer Thrombusentfernung. Alternativ steht die chirurgische Thrombektomie zur Verfügung.
