Zusammenfassung

Die Hämostase erfordert Mechanismen, die einerseits eine Blutung durch die Bildung des Fibringerinnsels stoppen und andererseits dessen Ausmaß begrenzen, um damit einer überschießenden Thrombusbildung mit Gefäßverschluss entgegenzuwirken. In diesen Prozess sind die Elemente der Virchow-Trias Blutströmung, Blutzusammensetzung und Gefäßendothel eng eingebunden.
