Psychoonkologische Diagnostik der Belastungen und der psychischen Komorbidität

Zusammenfassung

Die Erfassung und Diagnostik psychosozialer Belastungen und psychischer Störungen bei Krebspatienten nimmt im Rahmen der psychoonkologischen Versorgung einen wichtigen Stellenwert ein, damit Patienten zeitnah bedarfsgerechte psychosoziale Unterstützungsangebote erhalten können. Ein frühzeitiges Screening und eine valide psychoonkologische Diagnostik von behandlungsbedürftigen psychosozialen Belastungen und psychischen Störungen sowie die Zuweisung von Patienten zu bestehenden Unterstützungsangeboten stellen damit zentrale Aufgaben einer patientenzentrierten onkologischen Versorgung dar. Nicht oder zu spät erkannte und behandelte psychische Belastungen können sich negativ auf die Morbidität und die Chronifizierung der psychischen Erkrankung, auf die Arzt-Patient-Beziehung und die Behandlungsadhärenz sowie auf die Lebensqualität von Patienten und Angehörigen insgesamt auswirken.
