Zusammenfassung
Der Artikel beschreibt Anforderungen an eine zukünftige Industrie 4.0-Produktionslandschaft: vernetzte, flexible Produktionseinheiten jeder Granularität, in denen individualisierte Produkte durch die automatische Anpassung von Produktionsmaschinen zu Massenstückzahlkosten in Losgröße eins hergestellt werden können. Dazu sind qualitäts- und präzisionsverbessernde, ressourcen- und energieschonende Produktionsverfahren nötig.
Die Anforderungen an die Automatisierungstechnik und zukünftige Entwicklung der Rechnerleistung sowie der daraus erwartete Leistungszuwachs werden beschrieben.
Der Autor erörtert die Migration industrieller Kommunikation zu hochsynchronen und schnellen Ethernet-Feldbussen und erläutert, wie dadurch mit höherer Präzision ressourcenschonend und energiesparend produziert werden kann.
Er beschreibt darüber hinaus Ansätze zu einer Ontologie, Syntax und Semantik für Produktionsanlagen und Anforderungen an eine zukünftige Systemarchitektur für die Evolution zu Industrie 4.0.
