Abstract
When the commercial vehicle market is analyzed from a global perspective, it becomes obvious, that the requirements are significant divers in the various regions.
No specific vehicle type or even modular system would be suitable for all markets. The main reasons for that are the following:
Legal requirements especially in Europe and in the US, historically follow different rules and traditions, i.e. regarding gross vehicle weights, axle loads and outer dimensions. Moreover the metric system is different from US standards.
