Zusammenfassung

Das Forschungsprogramm der Wissenssoziologischen Diskursanalyse (WDA) hat in den vergangenen Jahren für eine Vielzahl empirischer Untersuchungen als theoretisch-methodologische Grundlage gedient. Dies trifft auch für das Feld der Politischen Wissenschaft zu, in dem allerdings bereits seit längerem auch andere diskurstheoretische und diskursanalytische Ansätze Anwendung finden, so dass eine Abgrenzung von diesen sowie eine systematische Entwicklung und Darstellung WDA-basierter Politikforschung hilfreich erscheinen. Indem dieser Beitrag ein allgemeines, WDA-basiertes Design zur Untersuchung politischer Debatten in demokratischen Gesellschaften skizziert und durch empirische Beispiele illustriert, will er die identifizierte Lücke zumindest vorläufig und partiell schließen helfen.
