Zusammenfassung
Im Jahr 2014 nutzen erstmals mehr Personen den Internetzugang über mobile Endgeräte als über stationäre Computer oder Laptops (comScore 2014). Somit haben sich mobile Endgeräte (insbesondere Smartphones) zu einem festen Begleiter in dem Alltag von Konsumenten entwickelt. So verlassen 87 Prozent der Smartphone-Besitzer ihre Wohnung nicht ohne Smartphone und nahezu zwei Drittel der Nutzer bevorzugen für private Internetanwendungen das mobile Endgerät gegenüber dem PC oder Laptop (eMarketer 2014).
