Zusammenfassung

Dieser Beitrag beschreibt Klinik, Diagnostik und therapeutisches Management zerebrovaskulärer Notfälle auf der Intensivstation. Unter zerebrovaskulären Notfällen werden in diesem Kapitel folgende Krankheitsbilder zusammengefasst:

  • akute zerebrale ischämische Infarkte (AIS),

  • spontane intrazerebrale Blutungen (ICB),

  • subarachnoidale Blutungen (SAB),

  • Blutungen aus vaskulären Malformationen,

  • Sinusvenenthrombosen.

Apoplex und Schlaganfall werden thematisiert und mit klinischem Bild, neurologischen Ausfällen, Differenzialdiagnosen, Akutversorgung und Therapie dargestellt. Prognose und Outcome schwerer Schlaganfälle konnten durch intensivmedizinische Therapieverfahren in den vergangenen Jahren erheblich verbessert werden. Dies gilt sowohl für ischämische Infarkte als auch für die verschiedenen Formen der intrakraniellen Blutungen. Entscheidender prognostischer Faktor ist die Zeit bis zur Behandlung.
