Zusammenfassung

Pigmentstörungen können umschrieben oder systematisiert, angeboren oder erworben auftreten. Heute geht man davon aus, dass über 100 unterschiedliche Gene am Pigmentsystem beteiligt sind. Da Pigmentstörungen häufig mit internen Erkrankungen bzw. Hamartomen assoziiert sind, ist die korrekte diagnostische Einordnung von besonderer Bedeutung. Pigmentnävi werden in Kap. 110 besprochen.
