Abstract

Congenital lung malformations are commonly encountered in our clinical practice. Thanks to recent developments in CT imaging techniques, the diagnostic value of pediatric chest CT has enhanced. Nevertheless, we should optimize CT imaging protocols according to clinical indications and patient conditions. Lung, airway, and thoracic vascular abnormalities of congenital lung malformations can be characterized on CT images. Typical CT imaging features of various congenital lung malformations should be recognized to facilitate prompt and appropriate clinical decision making and management.
