Das motorische Symptom Myoklonus gehört zur Gruppe der hyperkinetischen Bewegungsstörungen. Myoklonien sind gekennzeichnet durch eine plötzliche, unwillkürliche Kontraktion eines oder mehrerer Muskeln oder Muskelgruppen der Extremitäten oder des Stammes.
