Abstract

With the development of Internet technology, a large number of interfaces are needed to assist people in their daily life. Therefore, the design of the interface has an important impact on the efficiency of users’ task completion and user experience. Among the interface elements, color is one of the main factors that directly impact the user’s vision. Therefore, In this paper, we will focus on designing color matching schemes of different foreground colors and background colors, and study the effect of the matching of lightness and saturation in colors on the efficiency of users to complete tasks with the help of eye tracker. Through comparative analysis, we can get the most efficient color lightness and saturation matching scheme, which provides a reference for the matching of foreground colors and background colors in the future interface color design. In this paper, based on the design of the Nearby Express Cabinet interface, we changed the brightness and saturation of the foreground and background colors of the interface, combined 21 different brightness and saturation combination interfaces, and conducted experimental research to study the impact of different interface color states on user cognitive efficiency. Through the comparative analysis of the experimental data, the law of the influence of the change of the color of the interactive interface on the picking task is obtained.
