Abstract
In the spring of 2020, schools around the globe faced an extraordinary event, the COVID-19 pandemic, that forced them to shut down and resort to delivering their instruction online. The Asian continent has been a leader in innovative technology, including education, but many of their higher education instructors were using traditional instructional delivery models in their classes. In this volume, the authors, higher education instructors in Asian countries, share their experiences and research findings as they delivered their courses online during the pandemic. Some of them were experienced with the technology and online delivery models while others had to utilize tools and deliver their classes in ways they were not familiar with before. The authors argue online education can offer resources for teachers and students that enhances the learning process in both traditional and online courses. They share lessons learned from their experiences and ways to incorporate the technology to better serve our students.
