Abstract

This chapter discussed the issues in differentially diagnosing generalized anxiety disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and posttraumatic stress disorder. The chapter starts with a discussion of methods to conduct accurate diagnoses and continues by describing the essential features of each of the three disorders. Similar features across disorders are outlined and discussed. Implications and recommendations are highlighted.
