Abstract
In view of the serious homogenization of handheld gimbal products in the market nowadays and the lesser number of products suitable for mass consumers, the kano model is used to analyze the functional demand attributes of users for handheld gimbal and the influence of related functions on user satisfaction, so as to carry out the innovative design of handheld gimbal. This research collected user feedback through desktop research and user interviews to refine users’ functional requirements for handheld gimbals. Then, the kano questionnaire was prepared and distributed according to the functional requirements, and the functional attributes were categorized using the kano evaluation results. Finally, a scatter plot was constructed by calculating the Better-Worse coefficient to determine the priority of functional requirements. The results accurately position the design elements of the handheld gimbal in terms of shape, function and interaction, and use them to create innovative designs that improve user satisfaction and experience. By using the kano model, this research shows the degree of the target users’ needs for each function of the handheld gimbal from the user’s perspective, and provides a guiding direction for the innovative design of the handheld gimbal.
