Abstract

The ambiguity of the transformation processes taking place in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation makes it possible to formulate a variety of concepts of directions for the further development of the agro-industrial complex. At the same time, the need to follow the principles of sustainable development of local communities and the entire territory of the country is indisputable. Strengthening Russia in the world economic and geopolitical space entails the need for appropriate internal transformations. The scientific article outlines some of the most significant aspects of the socio-economic development of the territories of the Russian Federation on which the rates of sustainable growth of business, state and society, built on the principles of the ESG concept, depend.
