Abstract
Generally speaking, the acquisition of cultural well-being by villagers is defined as follows. On the one hand, it refers to the identification with and self-confidence concerning the local culture of residents in a rural space for the local culture. On the other hand, it interconnects with the rural cultural ecology and spiritual ecology, with there being many possible methods for acquiring cultural well-being. However, the formation and maintenance of rural culture have suffered during the era of new media. In this paper, the data obtained while conducting empirical research on Shatan Village, Huangyan District, Taizhou City, and Zhejiang Province was utilized to conduct a social investigation and analysis for the villagers’ experiences of acquiring cultural well-being. The goal of the research is to expand the current situation and influence mechanisms used by the villagers in obtaining cultural well-being. In addition, the design path of cultural well-being experience is classified and defined through case explanation.
