Definition

Glycerophosphoethanolamines are a class of glycerophospholipids which contain the amino alcohol ethanolamine as a head group (Fig. 1). GPEtn is a cone-shaped lipid and thus may influence membrane curvature when incorporated (van Meer et al. 2008).
