Zusammenfassung
Unter der Bezeichnung „Neuroleptika“ werden Medikamente verschiedener Substanzgruppen mit ähnlichem pharmakodynamischem Wirkprofil zusammengefasst. Dies besteht in psychomotorischer Dämpfung, emotionaler Ausgeglichenheit, affektiver Indifferenz und antipsychotischer Wirkung bei kaum beeinträchtigtem Bewusstsein und Erhalt der intellektuellen Fähigkeiten. Für die Anwendung im Rahmen der Anästhesie sind v. a. ihre psychomotorisch dämpfenden, antiemetischen und antihistaminergen Eigenschaften von Bedeutung.
