Zusammenfassung

Die normale Thrombozytenzahl im Vollblut beträgt 150.000-450.000/μl. Bei Messwerten unterhalb dieses Referenzbereichs spricht man von einer Thrombozytopenie. Bei Thrombozytenzahlen zwischen 150.000/μl und 100.000/μl und fehlender Klinik ist nicht von einer relevanten Thrombozytopenie auszugehen, eine weiterführende Diagnostik ist nicht zwingend indiziert. Eine Verminderung der Thrombozytenzahlen unter den Normbereich kann durch Störungen in der Produktion oder im Umsatz verursacht werden.
