1987 WR. Discovered 1987 Nov. 25 by K. Endate and K. Watanabe at Kitami.
Named for a farm, established by Akio Seino in 1942, located about 10 km from Kitami {see planet (3785)}. Covering an area of about 50 hectares of hilly terrain, this modern, large-scale dairy farm, with 150 cattle, is operated by four members of the Seino family. (M 20521)
