Abstract

General Systems Theory (GST) is β€œan interdisciplinary conceptual framework focusing on the wholeness, pattern, relationship, hierarchical order, integration, and organization of phenomena.” (general systems theory – APA Dictionary of Psychology, last accessed 14-May-2021). GST finds contemporary representation in the Systemology Architecture that depicts five overlapping rings representing societal need, systems philosophy, systems science, systems engineering, and systems practice to satisfy a societal need. This chapter explores security integration to the Systemology Architecture as a path to align security with GST.
