Akhmatov, Tikhon Aleksandrovich (?-1772) – was Captain 1st rank, performed as Chief Commander and Superintendent of the Port Arkhangelsk. In 1745, A. graduated from Naval Academy as garde-marine. In 1746–1751, he took part in voyage campaigns from Arkhangelsk to Kronstadt and for two years surveyed the Baltic Sea. In 1751, he was gazetted warrant officer. In 1753–1756, annually A. took part in voyages from Arkhangelsk to Kronstadt and back. In 1754, he was commissioned under Lieutenant and ship secretary two years later. In 1757–1762, A. was sailing in the Baltic Sea. In 1758, he was made Lieutenant and Lieutenant Commander four years later. In 1763, A. led the Kronstadt’s frigate Saint Sergey. In 1768, he was promoted Captain 2nd rank with a duty to procure land provisions in Tver. The next year he led a new ship Asiaand voyaged from Arkhangelsk to Kronstadt.
