Drawing of angiosperm flower. The pistil in the center of the flower is the female structure in angiosperm reproduction and consists of the terminal stigma, the slender style, and the basal ovary in which the ovules are borne. The stamens surround the pistil and consist of the anther bearing the pollen grains, and the elongated filament. The petals collectively constitute the corolla and the sepals form the calyx.
