Ad-hoc teams are temporary groups created to address specific issues or problems. They do not have control over any work decisions and typically are not involved directly in production. These teams are formed for very limited periods of time to address narrow, short-term problems, and have a very limited scope of responsibilities. Usually ad hoc teams only offer ideas or suggestions related to the issue and have no role in decision making or implementation.
